Strings Camp
The annual Easton Area High School Strings Camp will take place from Tuesday, July 30-Thursday, August 1. The camp will run from 6:00-8:00 PM each evening and conclude with an ice cream social.
The purpose of the strings camp is to join together our new and returning members to play music and get to know each other before the beginning of the upcoming school year. The camp includes full ensemble rehearsals, along with sectional time to work more on individualized technique.
We ask all students to RSVP by Friday, July 28, 2019 so we can prepare accordingly. When registering, please be sure to use your personal email account, rather than a Rover Kids account for the form to work properly. All students should receive a mailing by the end of June regarding information for the camp.

Band Camp
The Easton Area High School “Red Rover” Marching Band rehearses for three weeks before the beginning of the school year. Band camp is meant to bring together our new members with returning members, teach fundamentals, and work extensively on our pregame and halftime shows.
The full schedule for band camp allows all students to participate in school sports and marching band.
On the first Friday of camp, we will host a “March-A-Thon” to raise funds for our upcoming trip to the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, FL. Sponsorship letters will be made available to students and posted on the website.
Near the end of band camp, we host our annual “Meet the Band Night,” where community members have the opportunity to interact with our marching band. The night is held at Cottingham Stadium and begins at 5:00 PM with a free cookout provided by our Instrumental Music Association. The event then kicks off at 7:00 PM with a preview of our pregame and halftime shows, before concluding with a student march-off and parent/community march-off. “Meet the Band Night” will take place on Wednesday, August 21, 2019.
All band students will receive a mailing by the end of June with important information regarding camp.
