What is a March A Thon?

A fundraiser for our EAHS marching band! Students march 50 laps around the field to raise money for our program. This year, we are raising funds to help offset the cost of band camp and our performance at the NY Jets vs. Las Vegas Raiders game! Our goal for this fundraiser is $10,000! We need everyone’s help to achieve this goal!

  • WHEN: Friday, August 14 from  8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • WHERE: Easton Area High School band field
  • DONATION PERIOD: Friday, August 1 – Friday, August 14
  • WHY: The money we raise during this event will help to offset the costs of maintaining our instrumental program and ensuring we can afford future years many wonderful opportunities.

We Need YOU

We are asking every student to find sponsors for this event! If every student found between $15-25 in sponsorships, the IMA would surpass our goal! It costs the IMA approximately $100,000 annually to support instrumental music at Easton Area High School. This money goes towards the following:

  1. Marching Band (including band camp, parades, competitions)
  2. Strings Camp (including guest clinicians, food)
  3. Guest Clinicians throughout the year for all students
  4. Equipment purchases (as needed to support the growing program)
  5. Instrumental Music Banquet & Senior Recital
  6. Meals (at various points throughout the year)
  7. Scholarships for graduating seniors (six $1,000 scholarships)
  8. Performances Tours for the Instrumental Music Department

How can I donate?

  • ONLINE: Donations can be made online

Sponsorships

The Easton Area High School Instrumental Music Association (IMA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that supports the students in the instrumental music program at Easton Area High School. The IMA consists of parents and guardians of students within our music program. It is a volunteer-run organization that supports both the financial and volunteer needs of the band and orchestra.

Corporate sponsorship of the IMA is integral to the financial well-being of our operating budget supporting the many opportunities afforded our students. The IMA supports over $80,000 in annual expenses, including annual scholarships, marching band operating expenses, uniform care, new instrument/ equipment purchases, maintenance costs, travel opportunities, and more.

As a corporate sponsor of the IMA, there are many benefits your organization would receive, in addition to supporting our students. We hope you consider supporting our wonderful music program. Our students work incredibly hard each year and we hope to be able to continue to support their needs through generous donations such as yours.
